Bull roast/Fundraiser:

I have no idea if you were aware of the feedback we were receiving at the bull roast. Every part of CVP was absolutely fantastic Saturday night! I couldn’t walk ten steps without someone telling me how something was great….the food was awesome and never ran low, plates and napkins were always available, the bar tenders kept lines from forming, the number of tables were perfect, the outside deck was a great option, the staff was on top of everything, the security was polite and attentive… the most common theme was that Saturday night felt like a night out – a community party, not like a typically bland bull roast. I am not kidding when I tell you this: I did not hear one single complaint or even a suggestion for what could have been done better. Absolutely amazing. Thank you for all of your work. Please pass along our appreciation to every single member of your staff. The night could not have gone better.

Retirement Party:

I have to take this opportunity to extend my sincerest appreciation to you and your staff for making my retirement party an unforgettable event. I will never be able to thank you enough. I can't even put into words how grateful I am to all of the staff at Charles Village Pub for being so awesome. I thank you for going above and beyong to make sure that I, along with my guests were totally satisfied from the beginning stages of planning my celebration to the end. So many of my guests reached out to me the next day with phone calls and text messages expressing their excitement about my party. They all had me crying with tears of joy. My guests told me that they had never been to such an awesome retirement party. Many asked me why I chose CVP for my celebration and added that they were so glad that I did. I must say that management, the bartenders, door host, and all of the staff were the most pleasant group of people to interact with. All of my guests noticed how attentive they were and gave many compliments about them. They all seemed to be just as happy as we all were. You all blessed me beyond words and I will never forget it. 50th Birthday: 

I wanted to take a minute to let you know what a wonderful staff you have currently working for CVP. I recently had my husband’s 50th birthday party at your bar on Saturday September 19th and your staff was fantastic! From answering all of my many questions throughout the entire planning process, to helping with the music and tending the bar, our party went off without a hitch! Everyone loved the atmosphere of the back bar/patio, the food was delicious, and the drinks were amazing. Several of my guests commented on just how delicious the CVPeach Crush was.

Just wanted to tell you what a great bar / restaurant you have. I had only been in the old CVP a couple times but remember it being very dark. The new CVP is so open, light and airy especially with the door open in the back. We had a great time and loved the location you gave us. Service and food were wonderful. We ended up only having about 24 people but everyone had a good time. Thanks so much for accommodating us.

I just wanted to pass along compliments to two of your staff members. One is who waited on us today. She was wonderful, probably the best service we have ever gotten there and we are in at least once a week. She was pleasant, polite and attentive. She said she was new, but I would have never known that otherwise. I don’t know the name of the other person, but he was working the desk as we came in. Young man with dark hair .. he was extremely nice and polite. A young man came in that has Down’s Syndrome and I know he comes in often. He was so nice to him and treated him so well .. it impressed me. Not many young people treat others so nicely these days. Having said that, I just wanted to pass this on. Too many times we hear the bad things about our business and/or service. I thought it would be nice to pass on something good! Oh .. the sweet potato fries are to die for .. I can’t go a week without my fix!!! Thank you.

Your email just now reminded me of our dinner last Friday and I just wanted to say thanks again. It was a last minute set-up type thing but everything was great. Our guys really enjoyed the wings, etc. and got a chance to relax and watch some football and NBA games. The bartender behind the bar was helpful and accommodating – we added some more food on the fly too. Just wanted to let you know that was well.

Thank you so much for the excellent service & flexibility that you & your staff provided at our event at CVP this past Friday. The fact that you were able to move us at the last minute and accommodate our unknown amount of people made all the difference in the world. The food was wonderful and was restocked in a timely manner. Your staff was friendly & accommodating. Our guests commented how nice of a party it was. Everyone had a good time, especially me once I knew I didn’t have to worry about the space or number of people anymore! And the gift was over the top. You have good crews regularly & some establishments we'd been to in Towson aren't as detailed & friendly as your staff, plus your quality of food has always been beyond our expectations!
